About the

storyteller

and from whence

he comes

THIS BEING PERHAPS ANSWERS TO YOUR MANY QUESTIONS

Rattlebox Theatre is run by myself - Dave Oliver.  Whilst I often work as a one-man show, I sometimes perform with a collection of talented storytellers, musicians and artists on larger projects.

I graduated from Bretton Hall College with a BA Hons in Dramatic Arts and Dramatic Presentation.  Since then, combining my love and knowledge of performance, history, folklore, prop making and puppetry, I have developed a lively performance style and detailed, often fantastical look to my work - whether it be walkabout character, a puppet creation or costumed storytelling.

I will travel to any part of the country to perform but obviously travel and extra time costs would have to be factored into a performance fee.
